Opening alert: BUL

The owners of Sakuramen have opened a restaurant a few doors down from their ramen shop: BUL, which serves Korean street food (a “pojangmacha”). Pojangmacha literally translates to “covered wagon” in Korean, and refers to the stalls selling popular street snacks.  The house specialty will be rice bowls and skewers. I look forward to trying the the odeng, a fish soup the owner, Jonathan Cho, refers to as a “hangover soup.” I am loving that Adams Morgan is having such great eating options these days (Donburi, Mintwood, Roofer’s Union, Jack Rose) because I am definitely not trying to go there on a Saturday night for the bar scene.
